FAQ’S

Q: Is the restaurant open?
A: Regretfully, the Petite Bistro has closed. The owner has retired and would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all her past customers.

Q: What time can I check-in?
A: We offer check-in any time after 3 PM.

Q: What time is check-out?
A: We ask that you check-out by 11 AM.

Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: We have a 48 hour cancellation policy. Because check-in begins at 3PM, that means you must cancel prior to 3PM two days before your reserved date to avoid being charged for your first night.

Q: Are you pet friendly?
A: Yes! We allow dogs in some of our rooms, no more than two per room. There is a pet fee of $10 per night, per dog. Unfortunately, we do not allow pets in our suites.

Q: What type of food is available for breakfast?
A: Our complimentary breakfast includes hard boiled eggs, freshly baked white bread, our own homemade granola, yogurt, fresh fruit, sliced raisin & multi-grain breads, bagels, cereal, & muffins. We also offer juice, water, milk, tea, hot cocoa, & locally roasted Black Swan Coffee.

Q: May I smoke in my room?
A: Islands Inn is a smoke free facility.

Q: Is there an elevator?
A: Unfortunately, we do not have an elevator. Please let us know if you require a ground floor room when making your reservation.

Q: When does the pool open?
A: Seasonal pool/hot tub hours are 8 AM – 10 PM.
There is not a specific open date, it is weather dependent in April or May. The last day to enjoy our pool and hot tub is September 30th.

Q: Will I have a view?
A: Most of our second story rooms have views of Fidalgo Bay and/or Guemes Channel. All of our family rooms are on the ground floor and do not have views. Our standard rooms are also on the ground floor and have partial views of Fidalgo Bay.

Q: Are your rooms handicap accessible?
A: We do have grab bars in the showers in a small number of rooms, please let us know if you need one of those rooms when you make your reservation and we will be happy to help you. All of our rooms do have at least one step to the door and, unfortunately, there are no grab bars near the toilets.

Q: Will I have air conditioning?
A: All of our standard rooms and suites have air conditioning.
Most of our fireplace rooms have air conditioning, the ones that do not have ceiling fans. Please let us know if you require AC when you are making your reservation and we will be happy to fulfill that request.
Our family rooms have ceiling fans, but do not have air conditioning.
